What does the VHS filter do?
The VHS filter recreates the look of a home video tape played on an old VCR. It adds scanlines, soft color bleed, grain and the jittery tracking bands you remember from rewinding a cassette, and it animates live on your camera so you can line up the shot before you take it. You can also upload a photo and apply the same effect. Everything runs in your browser, so your camera feed and photos never leave your device.
